I was late to the game on the whole Penn State scandal, but Penn State’s decision to fire Joe Paterno after he went through the proper channels to report the issues is outrageous. It may be a small gesture, but if/when I decide to complete my PSU degree, it won’t be with PSU, and I will henceforth refer to myself as a ‘college’ dropout, not a Penn State dropout :P

Another irritated Samsung customer. We bought our 42” LCD tv (LN-T4066-F) in 2008. About six months ago it started having the random line problem/screen blanking problem that a lot of other owners are reporting. Options? $800 to repair, or buy the same model now for $500. OR, $15 for capacitors and Chris’ steady hand at the solder gun :D

Took delivery of the iMac for testing at work a few weeks back, finally got a chance to unbox it and setup today. Hit the power button, screen is dead. To the Apple Store it goes tomorrow :P $1500 paperweight.
